The 7th Annual Ride Like a Mountain Man

This road ride evolves every year to meet the challenge and 2020 is no exception, with 3 different road routes (asphalt) to choose from to satisfy any age, gender or riding difficulty.
What Is RLAMM
This 7th annual Ride Like a Mountain Man road ride is for all genders and all cycling levels. All proceeds support multiuse trail construction in Heber Springs. The 10 and 20 mile rides are social no drop rides. The 55 mile ride around Greers Ferry Lake comes with bragging rights, challenging hills and great views. There are 3 awesome SAG stops, law enforcement support and a support vehicle. Spirit riders are simply supporters that do not ride but receive a tee shirt and ticket to spaghetti dinner/social.
What's New for 2020
New routes and new starting line! This year the RLAMM event is in conjunction with the Adventure Outdoor Expo at the Heber Springs Community Center. All rides start and finish there. We are upping the game from finishers pins to VERY nice finishers medals and the tee shirt is neon green Sports Tech (breathable) material. Also, the spaghetti dinner (and adult beverages) on April 3rd at 6 pm is at Sulphur Creek Outfitters new location next to Walmart in Heber Springs at 1520 Hwy 25B.
Routes will be published here soon. We reserve the right to make route changes until 1 week before the event. This event will cancel in case of severe weather or lightning or acts of terrorism in which case registrants can receive a full refund (new policy this year). There are no refunds for no-shows.
Get your name on the tee shirt and help get this community project finished. All proceeds are tax deductible and go to trail construction in Heber Springs. Platinum Sponsorship gives you a large logo on the shirt and allows sponsor to set up a 10 x 10 booth and erect a banner at the start/finish line at the spaghetti dinner and the ride event. Gold sponsorship gives you a medium logo on the shirt and allows sponsor to set up a 10 x 10 booth and erect a banner at the start/finish line for the spaghetti dinner and the ride event. Silver sponsorship puts your name on the tee shirt and allows sponsor to erect a banner at the start/finish line for the spaghetti dinner and the ride event. Sponsorship deadline is midnight March 15th, 2020. Banner/booth setup begins at noon on April 2nd. Power can be provided with previous arrangements. Please specify an inside or outside booth area.

Payment by check can be mailed to GFLTC, PO Box 74, Heber Springs, AR 72543. Please download the registration form and include with the check payable to Greers Ferry Lake Trails Council. All participants must sign a waiver of liability. Participants under 18 years old must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

* Late registration is open April 4th from 6 to 7am at the starting line. Add $5 and pay by check or cash (no online access)
