"A partnership between YOU, Greers Ferry Lake Trail Council (501c3 Non Profit) and the City of Heber Springs"

9 continuous miles of proposed trail, from Sugarloaf Mountain east of Heber Springs to the new Heber Springs Sports Complex, Highway 110 West and includes a spur to Bridal Veil Falls. Below is an updated map as of October 2022 showing Phase 1 progress, and proposed Phase 2 trail location.

The Master Plan includes a trestle bridge crossing Sulphur Creek west of Heber Springs, similar to the original trestle bridge in that same location.
Plans for a Sulphur Creek Trailhead near the National Guard Armory on South 7th Street will include an outdoor pavilion.  The pavilion will have some similarities to the design of the old Heber Springs M & NA Railroad train depot built in 1907.  Donor recognition will be noted on the walls within the pavilion and large donations will also be recognized on bridges and other trail amenities.

To plan, build, operate and maintain multi-use trails in the Greers Ferry Lake area which promote fitness and enhhance transportation, the local economy and community relations
